about
Our newest single taps into our softer side, touching on those rough nights with the one you love. It's repetitive nature with a few "false endings" were intended as a metaphor for the occasional patches of turbulence and uncertainty we experience in relationships. The serene ending reminds us how great it feels when we're able to work through these issues and curl up together.
lyrics
I don't know how this got so tense
But now we're on the fence, looking around in silence
Smile's a costume
It's storming in my room, and I'm hoping that the rainbow's coming soon
She's taking off down the road
She doesn't need me so
She's telling me not to follow, I will though
I'm begging her to come home
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
If I let her go, believe me, she'll leave me
This situation is so dense
I'm trying to repent, I'm sending my best intentions
Kneeling on the ground
It's storming in my town, and it will until she's coming back around
